Ben Gramling III
President
The founder and president of Gramling Brothers Real Estate & Development, Ben has been in the real estate and development industry for over 35 years. His family has farmed peaches in the upstate town of Gramling, South Carolina for five generations, a background that molded his philosophy of balancing lifestyle with the responsibility to preserve natural resources. A graduate of Furman University, he moved to Charleston a little over fifteen years ago to grow his business.
Ben is involved in a number of start-ups, some doing work overseas and some centered around green technologies. He has served on the SC Water Resource Commission, Sea Island Habitat for Humanity, the Tourism Council, and currently serves on the board of the Thornwell Home for Children. He is married to Robin Gramling and they have three sons.
Mikell Harper
VP Business Development
Mikell has over ten years experience in residential and commercial real estate development and extensive legal expertise in government affairs and real estate. Mikell graduated from the United States Military Academy and the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is a licensed attorney and real estate broker and handles business development for the company.

Martin Cherry, PE
VP Construction
Marc is a licensed Professional Engineer with 25 years experience in the Construction and Engineering fields. He is a graduate of the Citadel with a degree in Civil Engineering. Specializing in project design and construction, he takes projects from the conceptual stages through schematic design into final construction.

Bryan Loyd
VP Acquisition and Finance
Bryan has over twenty-two years experience in real estate covering all facets from sales to development. He is a licensed real estate agent with a background in project management, project analysis, and due diligence, with a focus on front and back-end closing and finance. Bryan is a graduate of The Citadel.

William Grass
Renewable and Sustainable Development Consultant
Bill has over 25 years of engineering and project development experience in the areas of industrial automation, process engineering, waste treatment, and energy efficiency. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and is a LEED AP. Bill is the founder and managing member of Green Energy Consultants, LLC, a company of business minded engineers and scientists whose mission is to cultivate projects where business and nature can thrive sustainably.

Kelly Seger
Director of Marketing
With a degree in Communications and Marketing from Indiana University, Kelly has over ten years of marketing and advertising experience from both agency and corporate environments. She handles all aspects of marketing, including brand management, community relations, and public relations for the company’s developments and interests.
